Course Info
Established in 1968 the Lighthouse Country Club is a semi-private, 18 hole golf course located in the rolling hills of Kingsland Texas, the headwaters of Lake LBJ. The course was renovated in 2006 by Jerry Slack and Leon Howard. Featuring smooth rolling Tifeagle greens and 419 Bermuda fairways, tees and roughs, and broad vistas of Packsaddle Mountain. The Lighthouse name, its logo and its outlook changed when Rick & Mercy Howe purchased it in September, 2011. The name reflects back to their Midland, Texas based company, Lighthouse Energy Solutions. The Lighthouse gospel song, believing that God has always given guidance to search for wisdom to make the choice in your life created the Lighthouse slogan, “Guidance, Wisdom and Choice”.
The Lighthouse Country Club features four sets of tees from 6558 yards from the championship tees to 4922 yards from the red tees. Making it playable and enjoyable for the average golfer while a true test of golf for a more accomplished player.
The practice facility at Lighthouse Country Club has a double ended driving range, 10,000 square foot putting green and a practice facility area with a chipping green located near our clubhouse for easy access. Our practice facilities are available to you before and after your round. Range balls are available in small, medium and large buckets.
